ARTIST STATEMENT

 

Answering a long-term call on my heart, I began painting as an Artist in May 2019. In an effort to evoke a sense of history and depth, my paintings are layered with a soft & leathery texture. Often resembling a dream, a memory or an emotion, each painting is inspired through my deep Christian Faith, God's natural creation and the life of those around me. It is my prayer that each piece of my artwork communicates hope and encouragement while providing a brief respite from the chaos of the world around us.
