Hello, I’m Jenny Weidenaar, artist, interior designer, wife, and believer in the power of beauty and hope.
I was born and raised in a cozy cottage on a lake in Northern Illinois, where my love for peaceful spaces and natural beauty first took root. My happiest memories are filled with the gentle rhythms of lake life and family gatherings, and those early experiences continue to inspire my work today.
Faith & Resilience
In 1999, I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior, a decision that has shaped every part of my journey. My faith is the foundation of my creativity, my resilience, and my desire to create spaces and art that bring peace and joy to others.
Life has brought both blessings and challenges. In 2005, my husband Rob and I were in a traumatic car accident that changed our lives forever. Both of us broke our necks, and Rob is now paralyzed from the chest down. Through it all, God has been by our side, and my faith has never been stronger. This experience deepened my understanding of how our environments can support healing, comfort, and hope.
Art & Design
I hold degrees in Elementary Education and Interior Design, and I’m a self-taught artist who answered a long-standing call to paint in 2019. My paintings are layered with texture and meaning, often inspired by water, nature, and the triumph of hope over hardship. Each piece is a reflection of my journey, sometimes serene, sometimes vibrant, always heartfelt.
My Approach
As a designer, I believe that every home and workspace should be a true reflection of the people who use it. I’ve seen firsthand how thoughtful design can transform not just a room, but a life. Whether I’m creating a peaceful retreat, a joyful gathering space, or an accessible environment, my goal is always to blend beauty, function, and the unique story of each client.
